Return & Exchange Policy

At Kanal Collections, we take great pride in the quality of our Indian apparel and jewellery. We want you to be completely happy with your purchase.

Please read our policy below regarding returns, exchanges, and refunds.

1. Change of Mind

We do not offer refunds if you simply change your mind, find the item does not fit how you expected, or decide you no longer want the item.

However, we are happy to offer an Exchange or a Store Credit strictly under the following conditions:

  • Notification: You must notify us of your intent to return the item within 48 hours of receiving your order (or within 48 hours of purchase for in-person appointments).
  • Hygiene & Care (Strictly Enforced): The item must be completely unworn and unwashed. It must be free of any makeup, tanning marks, deodorant stains, or scents (including perfume, body odour, or smoke).
  • Tags: All original tags and packaging must be intact and attached.
  • Proof: You must provide a valid receipt or proof of purchase.

Please Note: We reserve the right to reject any return that shows signs of wear, smells of perfume/smoke, or does not meet the above hygiene standards. Return shipping costs for Change of Mind returns are the responsibility of the customer.

2. Faulty or Damaged Items

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

If you believe an item is faulty, wrongly described, or different from the sample shown, please contact us immediately.

  • Major Failure: If the item has a major problem (e.g., it is unsafe or significantly different from the description), you are entitled to your choice of a refund or a replacement.
  • Minor Failure: If the problem is not major, we will repair the item or provide a replacement within a reasonable time.

3. Non-Returnable Items

For hygiene and clearance reasons, the following items cannot be returned for a "Change of Mind" exchange or credit:

  • Jewellery: Due to hygiene reasons, earrings and nose rings are final sale.
  • Sale/Clearance Items: All sale items are final unless faulty.
  • Altered Items: Items that have been stitched or customized specifically for you.

4. How to Return an Item

To arrange a return or exchange:

  1. Contact Us: Please email us or contact us via WhatsApp within the 48-hour window.
  2. Approval: We will review your request and provide you with the return address details.
  3. Shipping: Please pack the item securely. We recommend using a trackable shipping service (e.g., Australia Post), as we cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your exchange/store credit.
